Campaign DetailsEdit

The Coalition is holding a number of Guardians without cause at the Mersenne Island prison on Orionis II. The Guardian leadership has demanded their immediate release, but their requests have fallen upon deaf ears.

They've asked you to break them out so they can fight alongside you against the sham Illuminate government.

Main ObjectivesEdit

1.0 The Big House Capture the prison's Containment Facility with your Commander.

In order to rescue your fellow Illuminate, you need to get your ACU inside the prison and use its Capture ability on the Containment Facility.

The main entrance to the prison is controlled by two Control Centers. Destroy both of them to more easily access the courtyard with your ACU.

TipsEdit

After the initial land attacks all other assaults will be from the air, so building PDs will be relativly useless. The main reason for capturing the side bases is to remove enemy fighters and anti-air, and get rid of the ACs. If you wish you can amass enough units to simply break down the doors and flood the base, however it is in general a waste of time and mass as you can use a much smaller force to teleport in and destroy the security check-points granting free access in and out of the base.

Consider using bombers to destroy the defensive structures surrounding the two islands shield generators, but NOT the shield generators, at last not yet. Once you destroy the enemy PDs immediately remove your bombers and send and engineer with crahdows for an escort, but NOT any unit that can target land units/structures. If you must then set them to hold fire unless your engineer is attacked. Remember, the most important part of this that the shield generator is NOT destroyed or captured, since it will trigger several AC1000s which will destroy anything in the area. Use your engineer to targt the air factories on the base. this will give you UEF technology (although you will not be able to resarch anything). The only useful thing you can do with the UEF tech is to build mastadons to rain missiles and anti-air -- from outside the base, so you can go ahead and leave them if you want. Even so, when all the structures you need are captured and you have a small handfull of UEF engineers, you can leave one engineer to capture the shield generator and set the factories to repeat fighters around the position as the ACs arrive, getting a few AC 1000s out of the way while at the same time rescuing UEF tech and taking control of the AA/fighters within their base.
